Our Bacon journey kicked off in January 2024, when Spek The Bacon Co. came to life, fuelled by a vision to create simply excellent pork products. We blend traditional curing techniques with modern technology, all while ensuring that every bite is consistently amazing.

Our smoked meat range is expertly spiced and traditionally beech-wood smoked to tantalise your taste buds. We create delightful, fresh, value-added products like breakfast sausages, boerewors, and a fantastic array of steaks and chops that pork has to offer.

We exclusively partner with FSA-approved food safety farms that are export certified and uphold top-notch animal welfare practices. This commitment guarantees not only sustainable business but also outstanding products that you can truly enjoy!
Located in the vibrant heart of the winelands, our facility boasts FSA-accredited food safety standards, and we are eager to seize any export opportunities for fresh and processed pork products.
Our produce is proudly showcased under the private label bacon brands of Pick ‘n Pay, Food Lovers Market, Checkers Meat Market, and Bidfood Cooking with Range, alongside a select group of core food service distributing partners nationwide.
